Insure correct installation.

The chart below should help assist installing the roof window or skylight.

Frame dimensions represents the outside measurements of the frame.

Rough opening provides the dimensions of the opening in the roof deck. Note: when installing a roof window or skylight with a curb, use curb rough opening (see installation instructions for curb).

Finish framing dimensions is the distance required between framing to allow finishing with 0,5"/13mm finishing material.

The rough opening and finish framing dimensions are based on a perpendicular interior finish material on all four sides and these dimensions will vary depending on the roof construction and the thickness and the design of the interior finish material (see illustration (6) on the next page)
