Roof Curbs and Combi-
Flashing for VELUX Skylights

ECX/EMX Roof Curbs

  • Prefabricated curbs raise the skylight to correct the pitch on flat or lowsloped roofs
  • Type ECX is designed for roof pitches from 0 degrees to 10 degrees (2/12)
  • Type EMX is designed for roof pitches from 10 degrees (2/12) to 15 degrees (3/12)
ECX/EMX Roof Curb

EKL/EKW Combi-Flashing

  • Facilitates the installation of multiple skylights closely together in roof pitches from 15 degrees (3/12) to 85 degrees.
  • Type EKL is required for use with thin roofing materials such as asphalt or fiberglass shingles, slate, cedear shingles and shakes
  • Type EKW is required for use with high profile roofing materials such as concrete or Spanish tile
